List Of Foods That You Should Not Eat Together
What makes you achieve and retain good health is eating the right kind of food at the right time. You may not be conscious, though, that it is equally important to take note of the different food combos that may potentially prove to be harmful to your body. Here are some of the lists of foods you should never combine.

Pasta and Tomatoes
Without tomatoes, cheese, sauce, or beef, no pasta is perfect. Both of these, though, are not healthy for your body, especially your digestive tract. In starchy pasta, tomatoes have acids that kill the enzyme and curdle the dairy in cheese. Another terrible mix that makes this very difficult to digest is meat and carbs. Try to stick to the pesto sauce to prevent fatigue after a pasta meal.
Cereal and Orange Juice
One of the common mistakes we make is having orange juice and cereal for breakfast; orange juice is the worst. In only one glass of milk, there are 18 grams of fructose, which is the worse form of sugar. The enzyme responsible for digestion is killed by fructose. If you must take orange juice, take it before eating your cereal. However, be careful what kind of cereal you consume because some of them are candies in disguise.
Banana and Milk
A banana smoothie is a treat that taste great and nutritious. However, most nutrition experts think differently. They place bananas and milk as one of the least compatible combinations. This is because they have digestive patterns of opposite heating and cooling. An expert informs NDTV that the mixture disturbs the intestinal flora, blocks the body’s channels, and can induce allergies and the development of mucus.
The lactic acid fermentation is a metabolic process by which glucose or other six-carbon sugars (also, disaccharides of six-carbon sugars, e.g. sucrose or lactose) are converted into cellular energy and the metabolite lactate, which is lactic acid in solution.
Lactose intolerance is a digestive disorder caused by the inability to digest lactose, the main carbohydrate in dairy products. It can cause various symptoms, including bloating, diarrhea and abdominal cramps. People with lactose intolerance don’t make enough of the enzyme lactase, which is needed to digest lactose.

Melon with other fruits
Melons should be taken alone because they are celibates. Never should they team up with anything else. Eat them by themselves; having them with any other fruit doesn’t make them digest well. This is because, due to their high water content, they digest quicker than most other fruits. Stop combining other fruits with your watermelons, muskmelons, cantaloupe, and honeydew.
Cheese and Beans
In Mexican food, this is a trendy mixture. This is a surefire remedy for bloating, gas, and other digestion-related problems: cheese, refried beans, hot sauce, and guacamole. In contrary to the traditional misconception, though, beans do not give you gas and bloating by themselves. So, if you have a poor digestive tract, consider extracting the cheese from the beans. The good thing about beans is, it will give you a feeling full effect.
Water with Meal
This is one of the most toxic food combinations; taking water or juice while eating your meal. Shocked? Don’t be. Water dilutes and lowers the stomach acids’ effectiveness in breaking down proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Therefore, 10 minutes before your dinner, drink water. It would protect you from overeating or diluting the enzymes in your stomach.
Meat and Cheese
Cheesy meatballs, fondue meat, cheese, and meat are all very rich in protein. Nonetheless, it’s tough to digest naturally. Instead, stick to sliced vegetables in fondue, skip meatballs and cheese, and cut the meat in an omelet.
Meal and Fruits
Do you know that fruits have high water content and go into the digestive tract smoothly? Eating them as dessert causes a “traffic jam” in the stomach. The fruits straight on top of whatever food you ingested already, so it takes about two hours for starch to process and about three hours for protein to process. This can lead to bloating or far worse, due to the fermentation process, good nutrients in the fruits can be a loss. Fermentation simply implies bacterial activity on food that allows it to break down.

Burgers and Beer
Beers are the worst alcohol drinks to consume due to grains problem. Beers are actually fermented grains, which means that you literally drink fungal mycotoxins that can induce cancer. They have been shown, according to reports, that they cause sickness and death in the human body. Burgers are high in corn and soy if they are not from grass-fed meat. They are high in pro-inflammatory, omega-6 fats. You may want to rethink your favorite burgers and bear meal when next you hang out with friends.
Fruits with vegetables
Vegetables and fruits are digested differently, and I’m sure you weren’t aware of that. Fruits have a greater digestion rate, and when they reach the stomach, they are partially digested. Fruits also contain more sugar content, something that can impair vegetables’ digestion process.
For the same reason, orange and carrot should not be combined, as they can induce heartburn and excess bile reflux when taken together.
The Mint and Aerated Beverages
These days, there have been many videos on YouTube showing the response between mint and cola. Just picture your stomach as the soda can, and the same thing happens. Well, it will indeed be a frightening sight! This is because extreme bloating and gas can be caused by mint and cola, making you sick.
Pizza and Cola
As far as your health is concerned, another mix that most fast food outlets sell their customers is soda and pizza, and it’s a really poor healthy choice. Pizza is filled with protein and starch, which slows down digestion. Cola sugar can slow down the digestion process because of the high fructose corn syrup levels. Which in the long run will leave you feeling tired or sluggish.
