A merry heart, is like medicine to the soul.

When appropriate, feel free to laughter as often as you possibly can. It warms the atmosphere, lighten burdens, and makes you feel overjoyed within. Never forget to laugh, and remember the only one who can truly fix your troubles, is God. Cast your cares upon God, for He cares for you. Don’t forget to laugh often! 2020 will bring many wonderful things in your life, you must take the necessary steps each day, to better your quality of life.

“What a happy day”

God wants you to laugh
This article must be one of the bizarre things I have ever seen- well, it may be unusual, but it is true. Your heavenly Father is concerned about you, including your wellbeing 3 John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.”
So, stop thinking is more concerned about the bad things you have done, the mistakes you’ve made, as well as the fight you had with your friend.
Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Why you need to laugh
Studies showed that we enhance our health through laughter; it reduces the inflammation of arteries, lowers stress hormones, and increases the good kind of cholesterol. So, remember the health be when you giggle. Besides, laughter works wonders on our mental health; it reduces anxiety. Since a good laugh is good for our health, and God wants us to be in good health, then you have no business staying gloomy all day.

Bible verses about laughter
Luke 6:21 “Blessed, are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.”
Job 8:21 “He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.”
Proverbs 15:15 “All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.”
Proverbs 17:22 “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
Psalms 37:13 “The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.”
Psalms 126:6 “Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.”
Enemies of laughter
The truth is we get caught up with life issues that we forget to take out time to relax and have fun. However, you need to understand that there is nothing new under the sun, including your problems; whatever you are going through, somebody somewhere has gone through the same thing and overcame it. As a child of God, we are born conquerors; Romans 8: 37 “Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
“The wicked plot against the godly; they snarl at them in defiance. But the Lord just laughs, for he sees their day of judgment coming” (Psalm 37:12-13).
Nonetheless, there are some things we do that can stop us from being happy or laughing. Here are some of them.
Comparison
Life is in phases, and men are in sizes; everyone cannot be at the same level at the same time. We all have our respective journeys, and it is unwise to compare ourselves with others.
Galatians 6:4-6 “But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.”
When we focus on what others have, instead of what we have, we become anxious and bitter. There is no way you can be bitter and be laughing at the same time.
Focusing on your mistakes instead of solutions
Our heavenly Father knows our shortcomings, He knows what you are capable of doing, the mistakes, and other things you are not proud of, yet He loves you.
Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…”
The more we focus on the mistakes we have no control over, we lose sight of the solutions, which does not solve anything at all.

Not giving yourself credit
Has anyone ever told you, “you are too hard on yourself”? You probably are. Sometimes, you have to overlook the negativities happening around you and grab hold on every positive thing you can lay your hands on.
James 5:13 “Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.”
Staying around negative people
When you surround yourself with people who only see the wrong side of things, you become like them. Also, having friends who only criticize you and never appreciate your work and services can zap your energy. Thank God we are gradually coming to the end of the year, it is time to filter your friends, those are bad for your health, and those who encourage you to be better than your yesterday, and not someone else’s present.

How to laugh
As earlier stated, God is interested in your wellbeing; He will give anything just to see His children laughing and smiling.
Genesis 21:6 “And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh so that all that hear will laugh with me.”
One of the practical solutions I use is to write down the silly things I have done in the past before I finish, I usually start laughing, and thanking God for growth. It would be best if you tried it 😉
