Bible Verses On Healing

Get Your Healing Today

This article shares healing verses, and how children of God are entitled to divine healing. However, the article admonishes the readers not to live a reckless life and still expect divine healing. Regardless of your religion, race, or ethnicity you can have the healing you need. You might choose to meditate but it doesn’t matter what ever your choice is, healing is yours.

Healing is the process of the restoration of health from an unbalanced, diseased, damaged or unvitalized organism. The result of healing can be to cure to a health challenge, but one can grow without being cured or heal without “a cure”.

What The Bible Says Regarding Healing

Healing is the children bread
Matthew 15:26-28 “But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.”

I do not know what you or someone close to you is passing through right now, but one thing is sure- we are entitled to divine healing, and if only you believe the healing power of Jesus, which flows through the Scriptures, your healing is sure.

Before you dive into the healing word of God, you need to know these essential things about healing.

Jesus heals always! Luke 6:19- “All the multitude sought to touch him, for power came out of him and healed them all.”

Remember to ask John 14:13-14 “Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.”

Be sure you forgive. Mark 11:25 “But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against.”

Believe that you are healed. Isaiah 53:5- “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed.”

God has a plan for you Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Healing Bible Verses

Exodus 15:26 “For I am the Lord who heals you.”
Isaiah 53:5 “He took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered Him punished by God, stricken by Him and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds, we are healed.”

Deuteronomy 7:15 “The Lord will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.”

Proverbs 4:20–22  “My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.”

Jeremiah 3:22 “Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your backsliding. “Behold, we have come to you; for you are Yahweh our God.”

Psalm 34:19  “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”

Jeremiah 30:17 “I will give you back your health and heal your wounds.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Psalm 147:2  “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.”

Jeremiah 33:6 “Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them; and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth.”

It is our birthright as the children of God to have access to divine healing, however, wisdom is profitable to direct.

Just because we are entitled to divine healing, does not mean we should leave everything concerning our wellbeing to God. James 2:20 “Faith without works is useless.” Basically, we have to do our own part, while God does his own part. This means, when He heals us, it is our duty to maintain the healing.

John 9:3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.”

Encourage Yourself In the Lord

The above scripture proves that sin can cause to lack our bread (healing). We cannot live a reckless life and expect us to remain in good health. Misuse of medicine, deliberate food choices, gluttony, etc can hinder us from enjoying divine health; these habits can make us get sick.
