DO YOU HAVE KIDNEY FAILURE? WHAT CAUSES KIDNEY FAILURE?
When Richard’s health was failing him, we all were sitting at the Veteran’s Hospital in Tucson. When the doctor came in to discuss the situation regarding Richard’s options; we were pleased to hear his response to the doctor. It was said that with the kidney failure, Richard would just fall asleep, and pass while sleeping; so it wouldn’t be painful. Richard then replied “It was okay because at 78, he was content. He had lived a good life and didn’t want any other procedures performed on him”. “That he was ready to see GOD, and had made his peace”.
I thought what a GREAT man, that he could embrace the reality of death. I can only speak for myself in that situation. I stood in awe of this man I had known for 20 years. I never thought an awful lot of Richard, but that day changed everything. What a man! Death is inevitable, it is sad when young people or babies pass; but when you are 78, and your health is failing.
You acknowledge your situation, you acknowledge GOD for who He is, and you are ready to close your eyes one last time. It is so incredible, you are so incredible, Richard You Were So Incredible! To God be the glory!!!
